Hi Gals!

I’m loving gradients so much recently. They’re so easy, with such a large payoff. This particular gradient was inspired by how the sky looks when it snows. I have a lot of fond memories of playing in the snow and laying down on my back and looking up at the sky as the snow kept falling. Even though the sky was always gray, it looked so pretty. I hope you all enjoy this manicure!

Grey Sparkled Gradient

I’ve been a busy bee!

This manicure used the techniques found here in my gradient tutorial.

Polishes I used were:

  • OPI’s Skulls and Glossbones
  • Sephora by OPI’s Frankly, I don’t Give A-dam
  • Nails Inc. Electric Lane Holographic Topcoat
  • Seche Vite Top Coat

Grey and Yellow Bubbles

Sephora by OPI’s Frankly I Don’t Give A-dam | China Glaze  Lemon Fizz
Hi everyone! It took me a few days to get this mani perfected, but here it is. I used the same dotting tool from Breakfast at Kate’s. I practiced on a naked nail a few times so I wouldn’t have to worry about a base coat if I messed up.
The key is loading up the dotting tool once per line of dots and then keeping the lines straight. The width between the lines is varied on purpose to create a kind of bubbling effect.
The base coat is Sephora by OPI’s Frankly I Don’t Give a Damn, the yellow is China Glaze’s Lemon Fizz.
Happy dotting!
